The Journey Begins… Part 1

A life on the road beckons…

The smell of wood and dust settled into my consciousness as I stepped through the door of the camper trailer. It was warm and humid on that spring day the scents being enhanced in the enclosed space. My neighbors have this large camper stored behind their garage. How it got there, where it came from and where it went weeks later remains a mystery to me. It was not in my life for long, but my curiosity kicked in and I took every opportunity to explore all its nooks and crannies.
